PRESCOTT – Prescott built a 41-20 lead by halftime and rolled to a 78-42 win over Lee Williams in a high school boys basketball game Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Prescott got a game-high 20 points from Uriah Tenette and placed three starters in double figures to improve to 11-2 for the season. Lee Williams fell to 4-4 overall and 3-3 in the Grand Canyon Conference with the loss.

KINGMAN – Kingman dropped a 70-32 decision to visiting Yuma Catholic in a high school boys basketball games played on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Kingman held its own in the second quarter to trail 34-25 at the half, but Yuma Catholic outscored the hosts 36-7 in the second half.
Kingman slipped to 5-5 overall and 2-3 in the 3A West conference. Yuma Catholic remained undefeated at 9-0. No statistics were available.
Trivium Prep 71, Kingman Academy 47
KINGMAN – Trivium Prep continued its winning ways on Wednesday, Jan. 11, beating home=standing Kingman Academy 71-47 in a high school boys basketball game.
Trivium Prep, ranked 11th in Class 2A, improved to 7-3 overall and 5-3 in the 2A West conference. Kingman Academy is now 7-4 overall and 4-2 in the conference. No statistics were available.

PHOENIX – Kingman Academy High School held its own in the first quarter, but couldn’t keep pace with the NFL Yet Academy, falling 81-58 on the road on Monday, Jan. 9.
Girls Basketball
Lee Williams 55, Prescott 32
KINGMAN – The Lee Williams High School girls basketball team scored a 55-32 win over visiting Prescott Tuesday, Jan. 10.
The Lady Vols got a game-high 19 points from freshman Addison Prisciandaro, while senior Rebecca Arave added 14 points and a team-high 11 rebounds to the attack. Lee Williams made 24 of 59 shots from the field. Arave narrowly missed a triple-double, amassing nine assists.
The Lady Vols’ defense forced 35 Prescott turnovers, with Arave registering seven steals and junior Taliyah Crook logging six steals. On the downside, Lee Williams made just three of 14 foul shots.
The Lady Vols, ranked eighth in the state in Class 4A, improved to 7-1 with the win. Prescott is now 5-5 overall.
NFL Yet slipped to 4-8.
Yuma Catholic 70, Kingman 30
KINGMAN – Kingman fell behind early and never recovered, falling to visiting Yuma Catholic 70-30 in girls basketball action on Tuesday, Jan. 10.
Yuma Catholic built a 43-13 lead by the half and cruised to the win behind 24 points from senior Reese Sellers. Kingman stats were not available.
Kingman slipped to 5-4 for the season with the loss. Yuma Catholic improved to 8-1.
Kingman Academy 39, Trivium Prep 15
KINGMAN – The Kingman Academy girls basketball team held Trivium Prep to just 15 points to log a 39-15 win at home on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
Kingman Academy improved to 6-5 with the win. The Lady Tigers are ranked 20th in the state. Trivium Prep fell to 2-8.

FLAGSTAFF – Lee Williams battled Flagstaff to a 0-0 tie in a boys soccer game played on Wednesday, Jan. 11 in Flagstaff. It was the second consecutive 0-0 game for the Volunteers, who battled Paradise Honors to a 0-0 tie on Monday, Jan. 9.
Lee Williams is still searching for its first win, and is 0-4-2 for the campaign. Flagstaff is 2-2-2.

PHOENIX – The Kingman High School boys soccer team lost 6-2 on the road to Anthem Prep on Wednesday, Jan. 11.
